Aak! There's SMOKE coming from my dashboard!
I don't know how to explain it, but earlier today when driving, I noticed a tiny bit of smoke (or what appeared to be smoke) coming from the edge of the dashboard right above the speedometer. I could not smell it, I put my hand where it was coming from, and it didn't feel hot or anything. I also tried brushing it with my hands to check and see if it was dust, and it was not. What the h*ll is going on???

Aftermarket radio? Possible you have a short that's heating up wire...

Yes. I had the old radio taken out and replaced with one that is a CD player. If that's the case, could this be a bad thing? Is my truck going to catch on fire or anything?
