The hell that is driving the T/A.....

....with open headers.

Towards the end....from inside the car, never even above 4,000 RPM's. Talk about drone.....

Glad to be tearing this down next weekend. I need the kick in the ass of not being able to drive it. That might help me get some work done.

Hell no I never got on it.

I don't trust it. That is a TON of very hot air coming out, and I am not sure if it might damage anything.

If it was just for the night or 50 miles/whatnot..no. now if you would continue to run them constantly like that on the street for a while...very possible.

Re: The hell that is driving the T/A.....

Well, the car is basicly down right now. I think I am going to start to tear it apart Sunday-Monday. Probably more Sunday. Get the cam out, so I can sell it.
Hopefully the LS1 is in good shape. Sell that as well. It should be, recently made the power it should, and it only has 29,000 on it.

What are the specs on the cam? is the engine going to be complete? (heads/block/intake?)

Re: The hell that is driving the T/A.....

The cam coming out is a Lunati grind.
226/234 554/575 112

It won't be complete. No accessories, but it will have the stock heads and the stock cam. Heads will be assembled as well.

Cam going in....248/254 629/622 113

Trust me, once she is back up and running, I will post a sound clip. No high RPM revving, but you should be able to get an idea of how it sounds.

Not sure when she will be done. Kinda depends on bonuses from work. If I hit them the next couple months....I will be golden. I had everything ready to be about done now, but I lost my job April 1st, and didn't work all through April, so I am kinda still playing catch up. Working now though, and getting back on track.
