ride quality

Hey guys...I was wondering if there was any noticable ride quality difference between the 00-03 and the 04-06 models? Any input would be appreciated...thanks.

Re: ride quality

The S2K suspension has become softer, progressively through the years. 00-01 is the stiffest; 02-03 is softer; 04-06 is even softer.

Re: ride quality

It feels like the suspension in the '02 is just as stiff as of that in the '00 and '01. But there is a huge different in feel between '00-'02 Hondas and the '03 Hondas.

does this reduce its handling capabilities or does the improved technology make up for it?

Because of the increase in torque in the '03-'06 years, the softer suspension is made up for (good for accelerating out of corners). Overall, handling capability is reduced only a little bit, though, it is not enough to be easily noticed. But, in my opinion the hard suspension found in the '00-'02 years gives the S2000 a much more rigid and more racecar-like feeling.
