Unhappy Light Problem

I have a 1998 Z24 Cavy.. My new problem is... When I turn my headlights on (Low Beams) my daytime running lights come on. My high beams are fine. But when I put my low beams on my daytime running lights come on. And the little indicator inside the car on the dash for the daytime running lights comes on too. Also, when I change between high beams and low beams the switch seems harder to pull back. Before anyone asks... Yes I know its my daytime running lights, because when I have the switch on my "low beams" and I pull the e-brake the light go off. Therefore, my low beams are not working.

I Do have some ideas.... Either a relay, wire problem, or a bad switch. If anyone has any feedback or had this problem... Please give me a heads ups. THANKS!!
