those little squares

i dont not have a bmw and im not too familiar with them but i was just wondering what those little squares on the bumpers are for?? and what are the squares on the sides for?

Remove the square or circle to access the jack or tow points.

Squares

I think you are talking about the covers for the tow hooks, front and rear, and the jack holes in the sides.
