Unhappy Help Me Please with vibration

I have a 2001 blazer 4 door, 4.3 lt engine, it has 100,000 km on it. The problem I am having is when i drive the highway for a half hour or more and exit the highway, I get a vibration from the floor area. This only happens when the truck is warmed up, , it seems to do it more when turning left or right, but will do it on the straight. After comming off the highway onto the city streets and pully away from stop signs or turning corners real slow and using very little gas this is when it starts.

I AM LOST TO WHAT IT COULD BE. I AM HOPING ALL YOU CHEVY PEOPLE CAN HELP ME. PAUL

Not sure but when is the last time you had your drive line serviced ? I.e. Rear-end....could be low....

Could be wheel bearings.....so we'd need to know if it's coming from the front or rear....when turning (putting a load on) a particular wheel could bring out the wheel bearing noise. When is the last time you replaced them ? (if ever)...

it seems to be mid ship, and only when you start off ever so slow, barely any gas at all. not as much a noise as a vibration or small shimmy, it only last for a second

4WD ? Do you have 4-auto, as a selection on your 4wd ?

Reach under , loosen the fill plug on transfer case and check what kind of fluid (color) is in the Transfer case if 4WD......

Wolfox or others can chime in on more technical details....

More improtantly, I would start with the simple stuff. Ihad the same trouble with mine when i first got it. It just needed a tune-up. It would wobble and miss just so slightly under light throttle when pulling away from a complete stop. As I said, easily fixed, search this forum using the search feature in the upper-right hand corner to find "Tune UP" - loads of info here on what it entails.

You would laugh out loud even more if you saw the commercial it came from. Adds new meaning behind the term, "Hot rodding". :22yikes:

Paul, Have your rear diff fluid changed. I believe there is a friction modifier additive as well, but check with the dealer. I had the same problem you mentioned. 1-2 hours of highway driving, get off highway, stop at light, take off and I would get a shudder. The shop foreman at the dealer told me it was the rear diff fluid. I thought he was blowing smoke up my ass, but I had it changed with the additive and have not had the problem since. I'm at 99,000 km's now.

From some reason....after switching to this avatar, most of my posts have gotten longer. And most of the people I reply to, seem more satisfied.
