air cond

Can some one explain to me how the ac control
works on a 94 3000gt the first click of the ac button
turns on and it has a red light on it the compressor is
on but the radiator fans come on immeditily thin push
the button again the light is green radiator fans go off
and compressor stays on ac works great at ethier setting
whats the differance does one lock the compressor on
and keep it from cycling or what

Hmm....I never noticed that.... I just always thought the first click wasn't as cold as the second one!?!

It has something to do with humidity if I remember right. One setting is for high humidity environments and the other is for low. I don't remember which is which or even how it actually works but that's what I remember being told.
