99 EX acceleration Problem

My 99 Odyssey EX runs and drive fine unless you stomp on the pedal
too hard. The revs dont spool up and its sluggish. However if you ease on the pedal it accelerates fine. Is this something common? It has 100000 miles .Any helpers????
