2001 BMW Navigation Vocabulary

I recently purchased a beautiful fully loaded 2001 740IL Sport. I love the car. It has the voice recognition system for the phone and navigation system. I have not been able to find documentation regarding the vocabulary needed for all functions. I have figured out some of the basics,but I would like more information. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

What phone are you using in your car. I just purchased a 2001 740IL but Verizon would not turn on the Star Tec phone because it was not 911 compatible and BMW said no phones are compatible anymore. Any help would be appreciated.
