 I got a great ctr from them with all parts intact, but also hear good things about hmotorsonline.com too. The one on hmo is $200 cheaper... I bought the more expensive one because I've learned the hard way, more than once, that you get what you pay for and didn't want to chance it. |

Type R's are like Dell computers though.. it's a high quality package for a lot of money, but not really upgradable. You can get the usual i/h/e and cam gears and some expensive electronics topping out around 250hp, where for the $6k + installation/parts you could turbo the hell out of your LS and get up around 300-400hp. Get the Type R for cool points, turbo the LS for a long kill list.
If you do buy the Integra Type R engine, I have a JDM ITR gauge cluster (reads in km/h, 8400rpm redline) I'll sell you for like $250 shipped. I ordered a Civic Type R one and they sent that to me by accident. It will plug right in to your car. If you have a screwdriver and ten fingers it will take like 5-10 minutes. |
