stangs still missing

alright so the car was missing not too long ago. i replace plugs, wires, cap, and rotor. ran pretty well for about a week. now it is missing even worse. i can feel the miss out of both tailpipes so i doubt it is the plugs.
also.. dont know if this would have anything to do with it... the gas gauge fluctuates a bit. with the car off it will read for example half a tank. then after driving a minute it goes up to 3/4 where its supposed to be. it also smells as if it is running a bit rich but i have no cats so the smell is expected. anyone have any ideas.. this problem is driving me nuts.

Re: stangs still missing

sounds like a bad fuel pump or regulator to me.

Re: stangs still missing

Jumper the pump after you pull it and see of it squirts lol. Have you checked your fuel filter? It could simply be clogged which could cause your miss.

Re: stangs still missing

if all that checks out, could be a gasket leaking, letting in too much air, messing up air/fuel mixture, long shot, but if youve checked everything else....
