can i bake the drums??

i know i know, sounds stupid, but i want to bake my rear drums if i can, if they will withstand 400 degrees for 30 min. or less then i am going to powder coat them instead of painting them, and that would be so much better, imo, if anyone has any input thats great, thanks again guys

Re: can i bake the drums??

I can't see why not.
This company has a set on their web site.
http://www.envirotechcoating.com/about.htm

Plus I believe that drums get way hotter when you have to applythem hard in a panic situation.
I've actually seen them glow in the dark upon occasion

Re: can i bake the drums??

They must be nice dmbrisket.

I have to somehow beg you into e-mailing me a photo of your truck. It sounds like you've already done so much to it.

Re: can i bake the drums??

You'll do fine.

I've only had 1 motorbike in some shows, but I got first in my class in my first show ever. And that was a Yamaha sports bike with harley owners judging

Re: can i bake the drums??

Just a warning, get a friend to meet you there with his car. It gets boring spending the full day at the show, unable to leave. Even just having a set of wheels available helps eas the bordom, even if you decide to kick around.

Too bad about the shot clerk, and the cerfew.

When I hear about things like that I'm glad that I live in Canada.
We still have armed roberies, and murders, just not usually on the on the same scale as you have south of the 49th paralel.

Your still welcome to come up here this summer for a bit if you want, and I should have motorhome set up on a friends lot by that nice lake if you want.
That would be quite the road trip.
