Angry They broke my car.

Back in feb. I took my car to my local Strauss Auto Center (Strauss Discount Auto Parts), I needed two new front tires. Everything seemed well til I was taking my wheels off to check the brakes today. One bolt would not budge, I figured I'd try harder, then I realized the bolt was cross threaded and worn out. I took it back to them, and they said "It was back in february, it wasn't our fault" I replied with "I'm sorry I don't have x-ray vision to check the bolt back in february." I eventually got them to fix it for 50% off. Which seems somewhat reasonable since they'll probably do 50% of the job right.

Re: They broke my car.

Well, one good thing is that you weren't on the side of the road in the pouring rain. Have to feel for the guys working in these tire shops nowadays, lousy pay, long hours, hard work, no gratification at all.
