1.6 zc crank im 1.5
I am thinking about gettin rid of my 3rd gen accord and its been a while since i have messed with a civic. If i get a 4th gen i want a 1.5 mini me. I was wondering if i can throw that crank im that motor. Or if it is the rods that make the difference in the stroke.

its the crank thats different, but if you get a new crank you need new rods, the end cap sizes are different...

Re: 1.6 zc crank im 1.5
might as well get a vtec swap if your going to invest that much time and money. You'll have much better reliability if you get a motor that is enginered and built all together and then go from there as far as bolt on mods and internals. The mini me swap is actually one of the few that can be done with very little mods to the engine but just becareful with what you try and make work, not saying it can't be done but there would be a lot of trial and error doing something like that and would take lots of time and money when you can get an engine with the same amount of power if not more and be much less trouble. But if your up to the task then go for it. Keep us posted on how it goes
