Re: Neon Light law

Well couldnt tell you the law up there. Kansas and missouri and most other states. As long as you cannot see the light source your fine. and the light cannot be b/t your headlights, inother words dont put them in your grille. call up your dmv.

Re: Neon Light law

michigan the "bulbs" cannot be visible, your not suppose to drive with them on, only one juristiction will ticket you for it, the others we fight the law as "no light is on, it is a glass, tube filled with gas, a small current of electricity excites particals of matter and makes the electrons jump up an energy level giving off a haze"... keep away from blue, and red, not that they are bad colors, but here, either of those two while driven can get your vehical impounded because blue and red lights are ment for emergency vehicals only, if you have just red youll be fine, but dont go fot the cop car look/effect

Re: Neon Light law

Just do like I do and ask some cop. If they don't like it, or you in general they'll hassle you.
If your on their good side they usually turn a blind eye to the odd little thing like neon, as long as it isn't way too much for them to ignore

Re: Neon Light law

In PA neons can't be on while truck is moving. Now sitting in a parking lot is fine. What fun is that?Save your money.

In PA you can use any color except red or blue (emergency colours). The neons also CAN NOT be on while the car is in motion. (The red or blue actually goes for most states). (The motion laws also apply to strobes or any other sort of decrative lighting)

Re: Neon Light law

Dang there tough everywhere but here. Ive gotten pulled over with mine on before. no problem whatsoever. I drive around w/ them changing colors, and all different patterns. never once had a problem with a cop saying you cant have them on. theyll walk around the car and make sure you cant see the bulb. Ive gotten pulled over for colored bulbs though. had blue ones in the front. how are they about those up there?

Re: Neon Light law

Here in pa they can (not often, but they have) gotten people for impersonating a police officer because of blue (anywhere) and red (front) turnsignals and other lights..
