Changing Brake pads on 1998 Caravan
I'm trying to change front brake pads and after I took the old pads out I was unable to fit the new ones in. The would almost fit but not quite so I decided to put the old ones back in but now they would not fit for the same reason the new ones wouldn't. I'm obviously doing something wrong but can't figure out what, I tried for 3 hours to fit them in but just couldn't get them to fit. Anyone know what I might be doing wrong? HELP

did you push the brake caliper pistons all the way back?

I think if you will look closely at the pads you will see a difference in them. The inboard is cut to clear mounting. also you will I think notice the ends sluts are cut for top and botom and there will be left and right pads.
