510 Z20S vacuum diagram.

I have a 1981 Datsun 510 with the 2.0 liter Z20S engine, does anyone
have a vacuum diagram for this engine in GIF or JPG format?

There are two books: Chilton and Hayes, they may have vacuum diagrams. I can't find one on the internet for any image. I have one under the hood of my 1981 Datsun 510. The mechanic told me the only thing is never even touch the tubes, etc...or you'll mess up the smog tests. Happened to me twice but I didn't touch it, the carbureator and the rebuilding shops did it. Grr! I'm on my way to repair, restore, and paint my 510. Never will sell it because I'm nuts about the dual-plug engine.

Hi, thanks for replying...

Wow, I had forgotten that I had even posted this.

Needing the vacuum chart now is pointless, I was in a wreck in December when I came over a hill doing 50mph and found that traffic was sitting still, the car is in the junk yard now.

But anyway, I would have kept it too, the station wagon was very convenient, I liked the Z20S engine as well, dispite the 2 miles of vacuum hose going everywhere.

Ttyl,

Ooops.. I'm sorry to hear that. Yeah...as for vacuum diagram I just leave my car's thingies alone. I didn't let anyone touch it for fear they will wreck it. I took it to the Mobil Gas station and they fixed and replaced. Not bad. But expensive price to pay. Now my car is sitting outside in the street like a "coma" ( I don't know where some deaf ppl get that funny idea of "coma" when they see the car sitting there for a longer time. Heh) The problem is now the flywheel I have to look for. It lost some of the teeth. Grrr! PepBoys wants to charge over $450 and I refused to set the foot down for that flywheel price.

Now I have two cars to decide to one to leave it in the parking space and to drive: 1981 Datsun 510 and 1992 Hyundai Elantra..but both of 'em are in like someone said, "Coma." Heheehe.
