Unhappy 1995 Cherokee Country quit while going down the highway.

Being an old school mechanic, these computer control jobs stump me...
I have a 1995 Country 4.0 AT. I was driving down the highway & it quit. It also made a wierd "POP". I had on the AC , maybe the clutch..? No Spark & A scan tool says " Vehicle not responding" (I believe they have to be running for scan tool to work..) Coil has 12v, Replaced p.u. coil, checked most sensors (unable to check CPS due to no wire letters on the plugs). This happened a couple days after a oil change, tune up, 160 t-stat. Now just cranks over. Dist. spins. Any suggestions?

You've checked all the fuses and for power at same? You should get some data for KOEO (key on, engine off).

The cranks sensor is in back on top of trans. 160 T-stat not good either, need 195. Engine doesn't have to be running for scan tool. Not to get codes only to see data stream. You didn't say you check for fuel pressure. Fuel filter? Injector pluse.
