Question reseting the PCM?

went through a mud hole last night(got stuck), motor flooded. i pulled the plugs cranked the motor and got the water out and it ran in a limp mode......let all the connectors dry out over night and its running fine now.....but the SES light is still on. need to reset the PCM to get rid of the codes. how do you do this on the X's?

ps....yes, ive changed the oil, checked the diffs etc......everything seems to be good(crossing fingers).

Mud hole? Sounds more like a water hole.

Do you mean ECM or PCM?

I believe disconnecting the battery for an hour clears the codes. Got any pictures of the swampage?

I had the light come on after running through mud holes a couple months ago. However, I didn't swamp. It cleared itself the next day after a couple hundred miles and hasn't been on since. From talking to the service manager at my Nissan dealer, the light clears itself after a while if the condition that caused it is no longer present.

Hopefully this is the case and the code clears, if not im gonna have to pull the valve covers to clean any water sludge out before i take it in to the dealership(thank god there wasnt any in the crank case). i dont think the alternator will be a problem if it hasnt gone already. no, dont have any pics of it stuck in the hole, but i do have some aftermath pics i gotta get from a buddy of mine. you know its bad when you have to pull the headlight assembly off to drain the water out.:smoker2:

heres those pics...
