1997 caravan mystery parking lights

I have a 1997 caravan 3.0 with an electrical problem. The parking lights and tail lights come on with the key off. They will stay on for a time maybe 5 minutes then go off and come back on. When the door is open, the chimes ring like the lights were left on. I have taken the headlight switch out and disconected the plug and it still does it. I have removed all relays and switched them with the same problem occuring. When the parking lights go off, (with key off) and I turn on the headlights, there are no parking lights. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks

After replacing the body control module with a used one all is well now.
