Z3 electrical problem

I just bought a 96' Z3, and am finding some unusual problems with it.
When you turn the ignition, the wipers start and the car wont start.
If I stop the wipers when the blades are at there lowest point, the car will then start and the wipers stop.
If you turn on the wipers while driving, they will not stop then either.
When I lock the car, the wipers also move a few inches.
Also when I move the passenger side seat they move.
This is driving me nuts..
Has anyone heard of a problem like this before?
Maybe a wiper control mod?
