Leather Interior. *pic*

Here's another project I've been working on!
The color in the pics is off a bit.
The color is Carmal... Goes awesome with my orange color.

What are you using for adhesion onto the panels? Also what did you do to prep the top portion of the door panel? Did you take off the factory padding or ... ?

Lookin good so far!

I sanded the factory vinyl with 80 grit, cleaned with varsol.
I'm using the 3m vinyl adheasive, it's working pretty good so far.

Thats the only spot that wrickled, luckely it's where the seat side is, so when the door's closed, it wont stand out at you.

I'm still trying to figure out how I can do the dash without having creases everywhere that'll be the hardest part.

The dash? Oh my! hahahaahaha I did a dash out of a 78 chevy in tweed and that was like a 3 man job, not fun or easy.

Have fun with that

Re: Leather Interior. *pic*

i took the dash out and took it apart to wrap mine. i seperated the two upper gray pieces from the two lower charcoal pieces. if you look on the backside of the dash, theres plastic welds holding it together, along with the most assenine glue ever used. i melted the plastic welds, and cut the glue with a dremel tool. then the pieces just snapped apart. the piece with the defrost vents is one part, with the padded gray piece on that. then the main dash, which i wrapped on each side, and down the center shelf. the charcoal padded part comes off in two pieces, a small one on the left of the cluster, and a long one on the passenger side. i wrapped the fuse cover seperately, and the glovebox too.

the flat panel where theres places for extra buttons was another piece i wrapped seperately, and i just wrapped right over all the button blanks, since i figured id never use them.
