No Turn Signals on 92 GT

My turn signals went out yesterday, so naturally I'm thinking the flasher is out. I go down to Wally world get a new one. Get home, put it in and nothing. I ran a continuity on my turn signal lever. It checked good. Does anyone know where I go from here?

Which side or both? Have you checked your bulbs. If one side is out, it causes the other(same side) to not work either. Also did you check the fuse after or before replacing the flasher. Finally, which is a common Ford problem, check the MFS(multi-function switch). In case you dont know thats the lever you press up/down when you turn the blinkers on, also contains the wipers, brights, etc. They have a tendency to not let certain functions work now and then.

Thanks. Just shortly after I posted this, I went back to troubleshooting a little bit. It seems that the problem was the wire coming from the connector block that goes to the flasher had come loose and slipped back into the block. A little super glue did the trick. I only thought to check this because I had the same problem with the headlights believing that my switch had gone out. Took me about a week to figure it out then. Thanks for your help though........

Re: No Turn Signals on 92 GT

It seems alot of 87-93 mustangs have turn signal switch problems, has there ever been a recall?

how much does a new multi function switch cost, because i think mine is all mest up, a while ago my headlights didnt work and my dad did something to fix them but because of what he did my high beams dont work, and now my blinkers are mest up and dont blink they just stay solid
