Monsoon Speaker System

i have a 1996 Firebird with a 10 speaker monsoon sterio system in it. the problem is that the head unit (factory) only has a cassette and AM FM in it. i need a CD player. is there any CD player + head unit i can buy to replace the factory unit?

just buy any head unit u want, anything will fit. You just need to get the proper GM face plate. I have an alpine. The stock ones are known to be shitty and boring.

That headunit should work, i bought one off of ebay and put it in my car, but mine is a 98. I do think that all of those style headunits fit basically any ponitac from 93-02.

ok. a buddy of mine has a camaro with basically the same radio as that. so im goin to try and hook his up to my car and see if it works.
