3.5" The covers come off easy, just pull it straight out, toward the rear. If Sony makes a 3.5" it should fit. I've got a pair of Blaupunkt 3.5" in mine and the drivers are so large (about 3.25") there a bitch to put in, especially in the driver side, smaller space.
