shift knob
I have a 2002 camaro with a 3800 V6 engine 5 spd and i was wondering if anyone knows how to get the shift knob off if you have any suggestions let me know

Well mine is a year older and an automatic... but I assume you want to put a different shift knob on there? If so, just but the one you want and should come with removal instuctions... if not then one of the smarter guys here can help you

thats what figured... maybe it has thread bond on it or something?

Thread bond = Locktite = superglue for nuts and bolts
I'm not sure how you get it off but if it has locktite on it you just have to put some more muscle into it and it should give.

Mine was a pain in the ass at first as well. Now it comes off with ease. I need a new shifter knob as well, as mine is starting to show signs of wear. No biggie though. I am used to the stock one, so......

Yep, if you had an auto you put it in N and pull the pin, but manual just unscrews... as Mr. Luos said use some elbow grease
