draggin it

well im goin to the drags tommorrow in my 89 rs camaro 5 speed tbi 305... its sorta shitty cuz its only 1\8th not 1\4 so yeah....
but its goin to give me an idea what my mods do...
going tommorrow bone stock even the exhaust and intake...
but next week or 2 i will have an exhaust, and open element intake. maybe if i can figure the wireing out i can drop in my hei but i doubt it...
other than that thats about it for the 305 and hopefully before too long ill have the $ for my new clutch to drop my 350 in and thats already got a edelbrock performer intake a meling high volume oil pump, a high vol. fuel pump, hi vol. h2o pump, retrofit roller lifters and a 795 cfm carb so other than a cam and rollwer lifters shes ready.. oh yeah and mild polishing(nocked off rugh high spots), and the hei distributer that gots the brute thunder coil and hi9gh performance module to match so no sparkj break till 9000 rpm for me although my last one poped at like 7000 rpms but that didnt have roller lifters or a cam lol thats right stock 4500 rpm redline cam oops 7000 rs didnt hold for some reason lol

but any way any ideas of what i should run with this (minus the reaction time for the sake of judgement) im slow so ill add 1 sec and my clutch is shit so yeah we'll see
but i almost forgot the redline is 4500 but its got stickers thaty go to 5500 so it doesnt redline till 5500 now right lol it holds it lol

Re: draggin it

almost forgot i got a tortion bar to bolt on....
its a true traction bar that utilizes shock technology to allow aggressive breaking and at the same time dramatic improvements on off line acceleration... it came with a 600 ft lbs traction garuntee??? i was told that if i put up to 600 ft lbs of torque to it and it spins theres a money back replacement for another blah blah blah type of deal i dont know im not the origanal purchaser nor was the installer one of there certified installers but i know it made my cousins 87 t tops with a 350 4 bolt cammed, stalled, and rebuilt and that sorta stuff on street tires it would actually leave 2 grooves from the tires so its got a bit of traction
one of the mods ill probably bolt on but not really get to utilize witht the 305 due to the wore clutch
