How to take off EMBLEMS ?
I have a 93 Grand Cherokee Limited. And I want to take off the Gold color Emblems my jeep has. It has two on the side of the car that say Grand Cherokee and one in the front and one in the back that say Jeep. Has anybody try this ? Or if you know how to take off the emblems can you please explain it to me. Thanks.

Re: How to take off EMBLEMS ?
Assuming it's a glue on type, get some fishing line, small enough to slide behind the emblem but strong enough to keep from breaking too easy, and see saw the line back and forth, cutting along the back as you cut through the adhesive.
You will probably need to use adhesive remover to get the remaining glue from the paint (use a test area first) and also polish it. |

Re: How to take off EMBLEMS ?
Assuming you are not going to paint over this, you're going to be able to tell where the emblems were. On a 93 vehicle, I can almost guarantee the paint has faded at least a little.
If you are painting over it, then I wouldn't worry about how it looks once the emblems are off. Good luck |
