I have a waterleak that I can't seem to locate. Every 2 or 3 days I have to add water to the car... I've replaced everything to do with the cooling system and the head gasket. I was thinking it was a freeze plug... Does anyone know where all of them are located? Or if anyone else has a idea of what it might be please reply.

Re: 93 honada civic
check your heater hoses. I remember having a little cut in one of those and it was a bitch to find.

Have you pressurized the system with it cold and watched for a leak or a pressure drop? If so, have you done so when the system is hot (sometimes the heat will open up a small leak when the cold will keep it shut)? If you have done these, have you pressure tested the radiator cap? Even new caps can have small splits in the rubber seal, allowing pressurized steam to leak out in such a miniscule amount that you'd never know it.
Have you checked to ensure the bleeder valve on the thermostat housing is tight? If you have done all of these things and are STILL losing water to the mysterious deep, is it possible that you car is running too hot, and that you are losing the water through evaporation from your overflow reservoir? Is there a hole in your reservoir? Steve [email protected] |

Re: 93 honada civic
might be the seal around the water pump like u said. can u locate the leak at all like any coolant or anything. did u bleed the system last time u changed the coolant.
