If i were to buy a B16A Sir 1 from www.hondamotorsonline.com would i only have to buy some motor mounts and do some re-wiring to get the sucker in? I have a '90 Crx Si. HMO.COM says this:
Complete motor and cable tranny(Y1,S1,J1),ecu (PR3,Pwo),axles with half shaft, shift linkage, stock motor mounts, engine harness and all sensors needed.Motors have 35,000 miles and come with 100% start up warranty.Lsd tranny equipped available upon inquireing(Add $300.00 more). Motors come with no sensors broken guarantee.

Yes, you will need some custom engine mounts.

www.hasport.com sounds like the best.

I just ordered my engine from there, that dude is cool. But yeah, you will need some engine mounts. He (HMO) deals with those, so ask him to hook you up, I got the HASport mounts for 350 from him, which is a good price for those. Check HASPort's website for the shopping list, there are a couple other little things you may need like radiator hoses, throttle cable, etc. It is recommended to change plugs, clutch, water pump, timing belt, etc also, but thats your decision. You may also need some headers as well. My engine came in, but I havent seen it yet (going to see this weekend hopefully), so I don't know if it had headers or not. I picked up a DC set anyway. Hope this helps. Hopefully I don;t have to repost and say that guy is the devil b/c my engine wont start .

the only thing I forgot to mention is that the crank pulley is cracked. I talked to HMO yesterday and he said that this happens all the time when they pull the engines out, and only the part's place for the power steering belt is effected. Like I said, I havent seen the piece yet, so I cant confirm that it is just a small chip. He is confident it wont affect anything (since I dont have PS), and he said that if the alternator section is damaged, he will replace the part. I was just gonna get an aftermarket one anyway now, but it would be nice to have the oem as a back up. I'll keep you posted on the engine's health, the swap should take place next weekend. I will be whoring a new thread about it in the civic/crx section w/ pics from my new digi camera.

glad you guys had good experiences with him. In my case, he was a cool guy, but I never thought giving someone 1200 dollars would be so tough! Tried paying with cc and he gave me the runaround for a month, then the last time i talked to him he said he was gonna call his bank, then call me back. He never called back, nor did I. Im now getting an ls from larry Jr at importautosalvage.com

Larry at importautosalvage seemed like a cool guy when I talked to him, but he said he was going to call me back 2 different times and didn't. I'm sure he's busy, but if you know you're busy then shit, just tell me.
