Fuel filter replacement '92 Jimmy
Is it necessary to relieve the fuel pressure before replaceing the fuel filter? Can I let the pressure bleed off at the filter after I loosen it a bit? I would wrap some rags around the line to keep the fuel at bay.
I am new to GM's and any direction is most appreciated. Thanks |

Leave the gas cap off for about a 1/2 hour to 45 mins before you change that. That should be sufficient to relieve the pressure.
