Unhappy 2000 S500 BAS SYSTEM brake assist pump

getting error codes on my bas dealer said brake assist pumb is going bad, is their a diagram on how to replace this part.

also left tail light bulb is giving in error, changed the bulb but still not working, dealer said possible module. where is that located?

does anyone have s500 engine diagrams and brake system diagrams and rear tail light diagrams

The best thing for your BAS problem is let the dealer handle it. The pump will not be cheap and you will void the warranty installing it yourself...if that was the problem to begin with. As far as the tail light goes, it sounds like the light housing itself. A lot of MB cars have this problem where the bulb heat will melt the contacts.( I can't believe the dealer did not check that) A new bulb will not solve the problem and I never had much luck repairing the housing. Good news is they are not too expensive...at least by S-500 standards.
