Problems Starting

I have a 97 Blazer w/128,xxx miles and when i turn the key none of the dash light come on, but the started will engage. This has been an intermittent for the last 2 months or so. It use to take a while for the dash lights to come on (10-15 secs). But now the dash lights are not coming up at all. The Battery is good. It does turn over. I did read about the ignition switch and am starting to take the dash apart. Just wondering if anyone thinks that this is the problem.

1.) Did you check the fuses?

2.) Ignition switch is in the steering column and you don't have to take the dash apart.

Checked all the fuses, they are all good.
