Availability

Hey guys I've been reading stuff on AF for a while, mostly on the civic forum (I'm not a ricer don't worry) because my mom had one and I needed to do work on it for her. I've been reading stuff on here for a while on and off, and I'll be driving (with permit) in august. I was just wondering how hard it would be to find a decent GSX/TSi in the Pittsburgh (PA) area. I have a 71 mustang right now that my dad payed for and we are working on it then selling it to make some money, but my dad likes domestics but hopefully I can persuade him to help me pay for a GSX/TSi. Another question I have is how unrealiable are they lol. By the way you guys talk on here they seem to breakdown alot, and I won't have alot of money to fix them, but wouldn't mind it it was cheap because I have fun working on cars. (I don't want to get ridiculous power, well I wouldn't mind haha but I'm thinking like 250-300 hp by the time im done with it and maybe some body parts.) Sorry it's so long I just wanted to get everything out, btw im 15 and if you want to my AIM is HLxDrummer Thanks in advance.

1st Q - Probably not that easy. May take awhile to find a decent one.

2nd Q - They are only as reliable as any other car. If you maintain it, it will last. Treat it like shit and beat the fuckin piss outa it, and it will break down rather quickly. 99% of the time this is true, the other 1% are beyond your control, such as crankwalk. Don't be afraid of crankwalk though, like I said its not a real likely thing.
