Most enticing swaps for a pontiac fiero?

My brother was talking to me about doing a project fiero instead of my sr20det powered sentra.

I like this I dea A lot because they're not too expensive, and they're rwd.

Don't get me wrong though I love the 3.8 v6, and it's not outta the qestion that I could build it up.

I thought about some swaps though, and this is what I think would be cool. The 350 would be fast but I don't think it's my cup of tea so I refrained from including it.

Supercharged 3.8 from a grand prix

Buick GN motor (turbo= )

Now this one I think would be cool. SR20det in the fiero. It might sound odd to do such a swap, but it would also reduce the weight. I love the sr20det, and I really want a turbo. Its out there, but I think it would be baddass.

Any other thoughts on swaps?

There is someone on here with a 3.8 super charged Fiero I can't remember his name but he is on here every once in a while and from the vids that he has posted it can make quite the lethal combo for a car.

Why not an MR2? The 3sgte is an awesome engine.

This is probably what he wants to do, i'm sure there's a thousand different car and swap combinations.

Re: Most enticing swaps for a pontiac fiero?

my friend has an L67 Fiero, really fun car. If you wanted to go turbo 4 cylinder, I would just do a turbo Quad 4, it would be alot easier.

Re: Most enticing swaps for a pontiac fiero?

hmm other than the 305 which blows i cant think of a small v8 from gm, there 302 is long dead. im gonna guess you gonna stay with a gm engine... they arent really known for 4 cyl as far as i know. the only other v6 i know of off the top of my head is the 3.1 and that thing is a peice. id know ive had 2 of them.
