Oldsmobile with fuel in engine
I have a 1989 3.8L V6 Oldsmobile Cutlass Ciera that has gasoline mixed with the oil, in the engine. I was wondering if someone could tell me what is wrong and how do I fix this problem?

Sounds like a leaking injector. It's relatively easy to check, just have to pull the fuel rail and suspend it above the manifold while someone else primes the engine (turn key to run, not start). That will turn the pump on for about 2 seconds. If you see fuel come out of an injector you know it's bad.
Good luck! |
