transmission

i have a 94 jetta GL the 1 gear fine but takes a while to get second after that it runs fine was wondering if it could be a sensor and if it is is it hard to install please help here or [email protected]

i think it is your 2nd gear sicron that is off on your jetta. before shifting into 2nd hold the clutch until the car is down to about 2,000 RPMs then shift. if it goes in smoothly then you sicrons are off on your second gear. i had that same problem but it was in 3rd gear.
