A/C Not blowing air on front vents.
I have a 01 grand cherokee laredo and its having some problems with the A/C. It used to work just well but now it does not blow any air from the front vents(center vent , passenger and driver vents) and it will only blow air from the defro vents (the ones on the windshield) and even if you try changing the settings on the A/C panel it will not work. I was wondering if the ducts change place using a motor or maybe a pulley that may have gone bad. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Re: A/C Not blowing air on front vents.
Hi ya erick0071
The defrost mode is the fail safe position for the heater/ac ducts when the vacuum source fails. Look for a vacuum hose off at the motor or hose disconnected at the fire wall first. After that it is anyones guess where it might be. There is a vacuum reservoir somewhere too but I think that the connection is closer to the engine. Just have a look for anything that's disconnected.
