Upgrade to automatic climate control - 2001 LeSabre
My 2001 Buick LeSabre has the standard control module for the heater and air conditioner. This is the unit with the manual slider controls for temperature and fan speed. Occasionally, automatic climate control modules for this car are offered on eBay. Can one upgrade to the automatic climate control simply by replacing the plug in module in the dash with the automatic climate control unit, or is something else required? Also, does the automatic climate control system work well?

Plug and play.
I think it works nice, it's definately a more impressive unit, because its only buttons. If you can get it cheap, go for it, but its not like a new ones gonna give you colder AC or anything!
