1988 turbo starts fine till operating temp after that wont start. runs fine and starts fine untill it gets hot. sometimes you can tap fuse block in engine compartment and it will fire back up does that sound like a bad relay any help would be appreciated engine turns over fine just wont fire up till it cools back down

Re: starting issues
Have a look at the wires. Sounds like a bad connection somewhere.

Re: starting issues
i've heard of racecars that when their engine get hot, it wont restart because the starter will inturupt it, thinking it's been overheated. is ur car a manual and maybe the clutch or starter is getting to hot, and it may have an override?
i know it sounds stupid, but hell toyota and all other japanesse cars were putting some weird shit into thier cars in the late 80's and early 90's
