That's old news...and it does suck. Why is CBS news reporting what all the other local stations covered last year? They won't crush every car they impound - just the ones they want to use to make an example of in front of the press. That's good news I guess.

They should spend more time trying to catch the freeway shooters here in L.A. - something like a dozen shootings, 5 people killed by a bullet to the head while driving on the freeway. Obviously the white Camaro didn't wreck or kill anyone while racing. This city is fucked up about a lot of things.

Seems focus is in the wrong area to me. I can think of 20 people off hand that are a higher risk than any normal poster of races here. And I know all 20 personally. Dumb fucks that get loaded at a bar every night and drive home. Yea, take my 240 that I built completely myself and paid for completely myself(I'm 18 so you can tell I have put a lot of work into it and the bill) just because I speed some. Since I'm obviously the bigger issue here right?

If I die while racing, I assume responsibility for doing so. My death would be my punishment for being a fool. Now if I were to kill another while racing(which isnt' very likely since I dont' race with people around), I would have to square with myself on that. IDK how, but I would gladly allow my car to be destroyed after that and prolly be content with 10+ years in jail, whatever it takes.

The punishment should fit the crime. 110mph on an abandoned road=/=$5k+labor on my car
