I am trading in my 2000 Century, 187,000 km with what I have been told by the GM dealer is a leaking intake manifold gasket, for a 2004 Century with 24,000 km on the clock. They are giving me $4,500 for the trade, so I am not too upset at the loss.
I don't remember seeing on the brake pedle the words for the ABS, like on my 2000. Was this an option for 2004? if so, that is fine, as I never liked ABS anyway. Also, was the Gasket horror cleared up by 2004? Thanks Paul |

Re: ABS an option in 2004?
Most GM products the ABS is an option and not standard equipment ever since 2003 model year. My 2004 Montana doesn't have ABS brakes either.

I had the Intake manifold gaskets replaced on my 2000 Century in 2004. There was a small coolant leak they said. They also said the new gaskets were an improved design, so I'd guess the design is incorporated in the 2004.
