reprogramming key fob for 94 bonneville

I've seen a ton of information on her about reprogramming key fobs. I hope you can help me. I bought a replacement fob for my 94 bonneville (my son lost the original) Same #'s on the back as the original. They sent me the directions to reprogram but I'm not having any luck. Can anyone explain so that a 3rd grader might understand? Thanks much.

Do a search in the Pontiac sub forum.
