Angry sagged out arse end...

so how many of ya guys have had the problem of the rear of your yukons / tahoes saggin out in the rear ends... mine has gotten pretty dang bad, the leafs are pretty much all flat and the ride is startin to really tick me off and startin to look like crap, the front is almost 2 inchs higher than the rear....
what are the best ways of goin about fixin this ?
And these are my options that ive thought of...

ive been debating on just buyin 2 inch lift springs, but ive heard if i ever wanna tow anything they suck for that, the load qualitly isnt that great..

Addin a add a leaf kit, but ive heard its just a temp fix if they are sagged out that bad..

screw fixing the leafs, puttin in a 2 inch block * buddy told me that * still aint goin to fix the ride tho...

Tryin to find a trashed 3/4 ton truck, and puttin in the rear springs outta that, i figured the bolt holes will be the same between the pickups of the same years and the yukons, and proboly wont sag out bad..

Any info on what anyone has done, or what you would think is the best route around this would be great...

Jordan..

Re: sagged out arse end...

well keep in mind if you buy 2" lift springs, the rear will then be 4" higher than the front...if the rear is currently 2" lower.

I would just buy rear springs for like a 1/2" lift. Then you'll have brand new springs that will last for a while...and be about level (they'll settle a little, so it would be perfect). And, they will handle like stock or better, depending on what you get. And you could still tow some too.

Then did you say you wanted the ride to be good?

You just contradicted yourself QUITE a bit right there...

I want a stiff ride, not the mushy bouncy ride in the rear right now

Re: sagged out arse end...

different springs are different stiffnesses. One manufacturer might make their springs to ride one way...and another will ride another way. Shocks make a big difference in stiffness too.

Lifting it more in the rear will not neccessarily make it any stiffer....it all depends on what you buy.
