Immobilizer locked me out after swapping ECU
I've been having some problems with my 1999 Prelude, and I suspected the ECU. So I got one from a junkyard. I plugged it in, not expecting it would work. However, I replaced my old ECU and was surprised to discover that I was still not able to start the car.
Does anyone have any ideas? Am I stuck taking the car to the dealer to flash the immobilizer?
