94 cavalier heat/ac power

ive got a 94 cavalier and basically my heater/ac suck, plain and simple. the blowing power is just weak. thinkin i was mr know how i replaced the blower motor expecting everything fixed, no such luck. now ive read many other threads and couldnt find any that said wat to do in this case. so any help would be much appreciated. up here in canada winter is far from fun when ur trying to drive in -30 weather with a heater that takes half an hour to warm ur car up even slightly. so wat else could be my problem? thanx in advance again guys

Re: 94 cavalier heat/ac power

does the blower work on all settings? you could have a bad blower resistor that won't let the motor spin at full speed. IF the car has ever sat without being driven, you could have a mouse nest in the ducting that is restricting flow.

Re: 94 cavalier heat/ac power

the motors does work on all settings and u can hear it get more power as u turn it up, as for sitting, not since ive owned it, but it has been useless like this since ive owned it, how would u recommend i check for mouse nests or watnot? from the blower motor side or from the inside somewhere?
