Angry 93' corolla. tail lights are out, dont know wtf is wrong with it.

Well, I tried the obvious fuse and wiring, all the wires are fine and the fuses are all new. The brake lights come on but only for a few moments then they cut off. at times itill last along time. other times not at all. Its not the bulbs either cause the brake lights are fine. just need help figuring out what else i can do......

thx.

maybe the wiring is just old and loose or something? i dunno...
i was having some trouble with my brake lights and it ended up causing some major electrical problem and my car got stuck in park because of it. lol. so maybe you should get that looked at.

It's the wiring that causes, i have seen lots of Corollas having problem with their brake lights, I was curious about it and decided to fix it, take off your taillights, unplug your bulbs, pull your bulbs out, and look inside there two metal dots in the rubber, those are two wires that don't have a good contact with your bulbs. You need to push those 2 wires and a rubber up, so when you insert your bulb it will have a good contact. I Did it before and it worked.

I had an 89 and a 90 with similar problems. The ground wires inside the tail light housing was the culprit on both. Good luck
