Driving Lights P11 stock ones install
Hi dudes, I wanna to get a set of those stock driving lights on the G20T. I have the base model, so didn't come with those lights. shucks darn (2001 model).
btw, do you guys know the price on that option and if it comes with instructions how to install them on our cars? I wanna install them myself...if it's like $400 just for the parts, I might just get them PIAA's for $120. I noticed that the G20T's come with a different light switch on the steering column...so thought maybe it might be kinda pricy.... thanx. |

the dealer price for the foglights is $264. I dont know if that includes installation. The "t" has the switch on the signal stalk - i don;t know if the accessory lights use that same switch, i read on someone's post that the empty space next to the cruise control switch is where they would mount the foglight switch.

if you have a base G20, and get the OEM fog lights, it should come with a switch that will go here...

the car is already pre-wired to have these foglights, right? so I don't have to stick wires through the firewall? |

i'm pretty sure that everything's pre-wired for the fogs. but, don't quote me on that. If you go to www.infinitihelp.com, their selling the foglights for around $230.

Hi there. I just bought the OEM style fog lights for my G20. The car is totally pre-wired for the lights with the exception of the turn-signal/ head light switch located on the steering wheel column. What you have to do is purchase the kit from Infiniti for around 230$ american which includes the lights and steering wheel column switch. Plug in the lights on the bumper and then carefullly remove the five screws underneath the steering column (to remove the plastic cover.) When you have the cover off, you should see an extra white connector empty. remove the turn-signal switch by the two screws on the left side. Plug the new turn-signal switch (from the kit) back into place, now with the white connector, replace all the screws, and viola, your new foglights will work.
good luck. |

Should have posted this in the blank button thing but my mom's camry had a dealer installed sunroof (non factory though) and the switch fit in a hole dead on the size of ours, it lets ya do some cool things like close automatically when ya lock the doors and such... maybe thats what its for... I still think its for an EJECT button so you can blast your annoying friend/girlfriend out of the pass seat so you can be alone with you G...
hehehe Chris

I couldn't wait until saturday, so ended up installing them tonight. hehehe.
man, the install was a breeeeeeze. so easy. my G even came with the relay unit pre-installed, so only had to swap the switch and install the lamps. that's it. the beam aim was prefect as is out of the box too. ![]() anyone know how to take off that finisher next to the lamps when it comes time to replace the foglamp bulbs? just yank it off? anyway, the lamps look awesome. hehehe. ![]() I like that ejector button idea. hahahaha!!! |

See, I told you it was just that easy replacing the fog lamps and switch. Good luck, and the only way I know how to remove the fog lamps is to bend downward on the plastic and pull. Then, you should be able to see the screw to remove them.
