(97 Cavalier side mirror replacement

I need to know how to replace the drivers side mirror on 97 4 door cavalier. Its electric folding mirror. Girlfriend broke on a trip and someone just cut the wires and took it off. Getting new one and wanted to know if any tricks or secrets to replacing.. Thanks

Re: (97 Cavalier side mirror replacement

pull the door panel and the cover over the inside of the mirror. Unbolt the mirror and pull it off. Install will be reverse of removal. Since you cut the wires you might have to solder the new wires. If you cut the wires before the connector just pull the old conector off and plug the new conector in.
