SRT-4 look a like

You won't believe what I saw at the Dodge dealer! I walked up to the showroom and thought I saw an SRT-4. Looked sweet with the burnt orange color, had the twin tailpipes, hood scoop, body kit, fogs, and wing. I pop the hood and look under there and I don't see a turbo. I'm thinking to myself, man that turbo must be hidden or something. Then the salesman tells me it's an SXT with the SRT-4 appearance package!!!!!!

I didn't even know that they had such a thing. Then I looked at the price and it said $14k. I should have looked at the price first!!!!

So, just to let you know that if you pull up to one on the street, it might be a fake! I think the rims were a little different than the SRT-4, so that might give it away.

Anyone heard of anything like this? I think it's so dumb.

Thats crazy! I would go an srt-4 anyways but if it was a fake I would get a great laugh out of it

I wish I could remember where in AF we were talking about something similar but they were talking about a Kia Rio 4 door with a very Imprezza like body kit, spoiler, gold rims, and paint job...I've actually seen one (Hamilton Canuck, only in Hamilton) and its the saddest attempt at a knock off ever

I'm sure you could easily distinguish the real SRT-4 by the exhaust note. Still- that's just sad. And Mas- I remember seeing that Kia, too. Both of those cars would be popular in the lame-ass, pseudo-performance poser capital of the world where I live...where you're measured by the diameter of your tailpipe, how low you've chopped your stock springs, and how high your aluminum wing is mounted. That's what I've been TRYING to tell them, but they just proceed with the beatings. Although brutal thrashings are far less painful than having to listen to their fart-can lawnmowers...so I can't complain. On the other hand, maybe I should just graduate to Kelly Clarkson?

Yes, I have seen them. No worse that the non-type RSX's I see with the logo's and badging on them ...Both equally bad
